Podium Mix
Podium and planter boxes need a mix that is somewhere between a soil and a potting mix.
If the mix contains too much fine organic material, the mix will slump significantly over time and will require topping-up. This may be feasible on ground level planters, but replacement can become a hassle in rooftop or green-wall environments. Mixes that are too high in either soil or organic content can create drainage and circulation problems over the medium-long term.
